How can I get Hughesnet Email on my Mobile Smart Device?

Get access to your inbox on-the-go with Hughesnet® webmail on your mobile device. 

There are two ways to view your Hughesnet email on your smart device: 

1. Using your myhughesnet.com on the web: 

Using a web browser on your smart device, navigate to myhughesnet.com and click ‘My Email’ from the top menu* 

* Login required.  

If your account has Email already enabled, you will be able to access your emails.  

2. Using your Smart Phone:  

Depending on the type of device, you can integrate your Hughesnet email with your smart device settings using the process below: 

Apple Email Configuration 

On iphone, ipad or ipod Touch: 

  • Go to Settings > Mail > Accounts > Add Account. 
  • Tap on ‘other’ from the screen of providers 
  • Click Add Mail Account and complete your name, email address, password and description information. 
  • On the top screen select IMAP and enter the following information:  
  • For incoming mail server:  
  • Host Name: mail.hughes.net 
  • User Name: (enter your Hughesnet email address, example myusername@hughes.net
  • Password: (enter your email password) 
  • For outgoing mail server:  
  • Host Name: smtp.hughes.net 
  • User Name: (enter your Hughesnet email address, example myusername@hughes.net
  • Password: (enter your email password) 

 Android Email Configuration 

On your Android device: 

  • Go to Settings > Accounts > Add account > Personal (IMAP) 
  • Type your full email address, for example myusername@hughes.net, tap Next 
  • Type your Password, tap Next 
  • Change the incoming server to “mail.hughes.net”, tap Next 
  • Change the SMTP service to smtp.hughes.net, tap Next 
  • Select your sync options or leave them at the default 
  • Set your name, tap Next
